Waste-to-Energy

Waste-to-Energy (also referred to as WtE or energy-from-waste) is a process whereby the primary treatment of waste results in useable electricity and/or heat. Most Waste-to-Energy processes produce electricity and heat through combustion, or they produce a fuel commodity that can be burned, such as methanol, ethanol, methane, or other fuels.
